Kenneth Pavlisick
October 25, 1934 - February 29, 2012


Life time resident of the North Fork Valley Kenneth J. Pavlisick passed away on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the Paonia Care Center, Paonia, CO.  He was 77 years old.

At Kenneth's request there will be no services at this time.

Kenneth was born on October 25, 1934 to Martin J. and Jennie (DeLost) Pavlisick in Bowie Colorado. He spent his childhoon in Paonia and graduated from Paonia High with the class of 1952.  Ken went on to further his education at Colorado State University.

Ken entered the U. S. Army in 1957 and was honorably discharged as a SP5 in 1960.

On March 25, 1961 Ken married the Love of his life Rena Rae Schoneman in Paonia, CO; to this marriage, two children were born.

Ken was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Paonia, and was a member of the Hotchkiss Elks Lodge #1807, and United Mine Workers of America Local #6417, and Black Canyon Veterans of Foreign Wars #9771.

Ken was an outdoors man; he enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, their cabin in AHubbard Park, but most of all his family and their time together.

Amoung survivors is his wife; Rena Pavlisick of Paonia, CO; a son; Kenneth John Pavlisick, Jr. and his wife Sherrie of Phoenix, AZ and their children, Sam, Zack and Allie: a daughter Teresa Pavlisick and her son Nathaniel and the only great grandson Maverick of Grand Junction, CO.  Mr Pavlisick is also survived by one brother and one sister.
